Participatory Local Governance for a Just Zero Food Waste Transition

Urban food loss and waste can be effectively reduced through strong local governance, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and inclusive community initiatives.
 
This ZeroW Policy Brief provides evidence-based recommendations for EU and national policymakers to empower municipalities and NGOs, promote sustainable procurement, support equitable participation, and implement data-driven strategies for a fair and effective transition to zero food waste.
