ZeroW-Hero Lorraine Foley is a Lecturer in Environmental Management at Technological University Dublin and Principal Investigator for the Leaf no Waste project. In 2022, the Leaf No Waste project won the Food Challenge under the Science Foundation Ireland Future Innovator Prize (€2 million).
Meet Lorraine who is engaged in the Leaf No Waste project, working to utilize silicon-based fortification on crops in combination with specifically designed compostable packaging to enhance shelf-life and minimize food waste.
